6days 5nights Cycling Tour through Ho Chi Minh – Dong Xoai

Lak Lake & Elephant Riding - Da Lat- Nha Trang.

Day 1:  Welcome to Vietnam&Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon). – D.      

GreenHorizonTours’ guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to hotel for check in. The rest of day is free at leisure. Meet you at dinertime to provide a short instructional briefing. You’ll stay overnight in Sai Gon.

Day 2: Sai Gon to Dong Xoai, 145km distance &Cycling70km - B,L,D.              

We will pick you up early in the morning and transfer to Buu Long Mountain, where we reaching our bicycles and start to cycle along Dong Nai River and through Rubber tree plantations, Paddy field. You’ll  arrive in Tri An lake and have short break for lucnh. After that, continue to cycle on the narrow countryside road then reach to War Victory Monument, where you can learn many interesting stoties about Vietnam History. We ‘ll spent a few minutes to sightseeing and then our support vehicle will take you to Dong Xoai Town. You’ll stay overnight in Dong Xoai Town.

Day3: Dong Xoai to Lak Lake, 215km distance&Cycling50km - B,L,D.             

Today is long distance to transfer and the biginning of the Ho Chi Minh trail from the south to the north. We will leave Dong Xoai Town early in the morning to Ho Chi Minh trail where we start to cycle to Dak Mil village. You will bike to along Ho Chi Minh trail and enjoy ít magnificent scenery. Stop at Soc Bom Bo village to kown about S’tieng ethnic minority people culture and traditions. Lunch time on the way by local foods.  After lunch, continue to cycle to Dak Mil village(near Vietnam and Cambodia border). Then Our support vehicle will transfer you to Lak Lake. We will stay overnight in Lak Lake.

Day4: Lak lake to Da Lat, 165km distance&Cycling 100km - B,L,D.      

After breakfast, head out to visit one of the old summer retreats of Emperor Bao Dai.Take a boat to a remote village on the far side of Lak Lake. Some light trekking is possible from this village. Elephant riding is available here (extra pay). Short transfer  to Phi Lieng village where the ride begins on the  flat countryside road for 10 kilometers, and then 12 km climb up hill on the top of Phu Son Pass then 20km section of downhill riding to Lam Ha town. The spectacular mountain views are perfect for pictures along the way. Lunch time in the town. After lunch, the ride is pleasant and flat for 40km to Elaphant waterfall  then to visitting Silk farm&factory. Continue to cycling 18km ride to Ta Nung Hamlet. End of cycling adventure day, you’ll stop at coffee plantation and weasel coffee farm to know how to make the coffee bean. Take your time to drinking “weasel coffee” and enjoy the view from there amazing. Then you’ll bike 12km climb up hill on the top of Ta Nung pass head to Da Lat city. This day offers 100 km worth of mountain biking. We’ll spent overnight in Da Lat.

Day 5: Da Lat to Nha Trang. 140km distance&Cycling 70km - B,L,D.        

Before leave this romantic city, we will visit Crazy house & French railway station – oldest train station in Vietnam and Indochina as well. Then Transfer to the northeast Da Lat on the new road and through the newest National Park in Vietnam  (Bidoup Nui Ba).  Beautiful views of farms, countryside and Nui Ba mountain. The ride  begins on the flat countryside road for 10km climb up hill on the top of Bidoup National Park. Then 32km, uninterrupted downhill section is the longest of downhill. The spectacular mountain views are perfect for pictures along the way. 30km more the section riding after Lunch. You ‘ll stop to cycling before the Highway No1, where our support vehicle will take you to Nha Trang around 20minutes. We’ll stay overnight in Nha trang.

Day 6: Nha Trang Beach.(No cycling today) – B.            

Today is free day to relaxing on the beach until your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (Ha Noi or Sai Gon).
